Our graphic summarizes year-to-date (through March 2020) growth in taxable sales subject to sales tax for the 500+ cities across the state that levy a sales tax.<\/p>\n<p>A number of cities were already under tremendous pressure from the statewide drilling pullback, while others were accelerating and posting very strong sales tax gains.<\/p>\n<p>The key drilling regions in central and western Oklahoma are generally the weakest.
